Ramkrishna Patil is a Mechanical Engineer with an M.Tech. in Energy Management and over 22 years of experience in Energy Efficiency, Greenhouse Gas (GHG) mitigation, carbon markets, sustainability, and climate change projects. As Top Management, he provides strategic leadership in strengthening BMNS, driving technical excellence, impartiality, quality assurance, and business growth in carbon markets and sustainability services.
During his career, he has held leadership positions at EKI Energy Services, SGS India, TÜV Rheinland, Sharaf Electronics LLC (UAE), and other reputed organizations. He has worked extensively on CDM, VCS, Gold Standard, ISO 14064, I-REC, GHG inventories, energy audits, and sustainability assurance. As a Lead Assessor and Technical Reviewer, he has contributed to the validation, verification, and technical review of more than 100 GHG emission reduction projects across multiple sectors, ensuring compliance with international standards and best practices.
He possesses extensive expertise in GHG accounting, renewable energy, energy efficiency, carbon credit mechanisms, and climate mitigation projects, with a strong understanding of international conformity assessment requirements, including ISO/IEC 17029, ISO 14065, and ISO 14066. His experience in technical governance, competence management, and independent assurance strengthens the credibility and integrity of verification activities.
He is a Certified Energy Auditor (BEE), Certified Measurement & Verification Professional (CMVP), IGBC Accredited Professional, and has undergone advanced training in ISO 14064, GHG Validation & Verification, AWS Standard, and GHG Lead Auditor programs.
