Akash Alkhania has more than 8 years of professional experience in Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA), Forest Clearance, Environmental Compliance, and Health & Safety. His experience includes conducting site surveys, environmental compliance assessments, audits, and providing technical support for the development and implementation of environmental and safety programs across various industries.
He is a Mechanical Engineer with an MBA in Project Management, combining technical expertise with strong project management and business development capabilities. He has extensive experience in environmental management, regulatory compliance, occupational health and safety, statutory approvals, and project coordination.
Currently, Akash is working as Head – Environmental Services at BMNS Services Private Limited, where he is responsible for managing and coordinating environmental and forest clearance projects. His responsibilities include obtaining, updating, and maintaining statutory approvals, permits, environmental management plans, compliance documents, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
In addition, he monitors ongoing projects to ensure timely execution, quality of deliverables, and compliance with contractual and regulatory requirements. He also actively participates in tender identification, preparation, and submission, including coordination of technical and commercial requirements. His role further involves business development, client coordination, identifying new business opportunities, preparing proposals and quotations, and developing long-term client relationships.
He also undertakes Electrical Safety Audits, Environmental Compliance Audits, and preparation of compliance reports, while providing technical assistance to clients for meeting applicable environmental, safety, and regulatory requirements. He coordinates with regulatory authorities, project stakeholders, consultants, and internal teams to ensure effective project execution and timely completion of assignments.
