Makarand Shenwai has more than 16 years of experience in hard core energy sector. Makarand is a Mechanical Engineer. He is Certified as well as Accredited Energy Auditor from Bureau of Energy Efficiency, Government of India.

He has vast experience in investment grade energy audit in Thermal Power Plants, Renewable Energy, Iron & Steel, Textile, Fertilizer, Waste to Energy, Infrastructure and IT establishments. He led more than 100 energy audit projects, recommended cost effective and innovative energy efficiency solutions and helped clients in the implementation of such measures. He has the ability to handle ESCO projects and presented several ESCO projects to the clients.

Currently, Makarand is working as VP – Energy Audit Services at BMNS and responsible for energy audit and green building services.
