Shiv Kumar Kashyap is a Chemical Engineer with over 8 years of professional experience in Risk and Hazard Analysis, Climate Change and Greenhouse Gas (GHG) auditing. He holds a Diploma in Industrial Safety and is a NABET-approved Functional Area Associate in Risk & Hazard. He is also a qualified Lead Auditor for GHG audits.
Currently serving as Quality Manager at BMNS Services Private Limited, he is responsible for establishing, implementing, and maintaining the organization’s management system, manuals, procedures, and competency evaluation processes in accordance with the requirements of ISO 17029, ISO 14065, and ISO 14066. He is also a Gold Standard-approved auditor, with experience in validation and verification activities across the following sectors: 1. Energy Industries – Renewable and Non-Renewable Sources,7. Transport, 13. Waste Handling and Disposal
Shiv has extensive technical expertise in Quantitative Risk Assessment (QRA), Hazard and Operability (HAZOP) Studies, Emergency Response and Disaster Management Plans (ERDMP), particularly for Oil & Gas, Chemical, and Thermal Power industries. His experience includes conducting safety and risk assessments, reviewing technical documentation, and supporting projects throughout various stages of development.
He is proficient in consequence and risk modelling using DNV software and has undertaken site visits to various oil and gas facilities, depots, terminals, pipelines, and refineries for safety inspections, data collection, and technical assessments.
Throughout his career, Shiv has contributed to projects for several reputed organizations, including Thyssenkrupp Industrial Solutions, Sanmarg Projects Pvt. Ltd., Transpek Industries, Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL), Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited (HPCL), and GAIL, among others.
